 Ask any Kvechie to define him/herself, i.e. what is
Generation K? and he/she will most likely reply (with emotion) "There is no definition.
That's the whole point!"
So, here is a book about a state of Beingness to which one
can not ascribe any adjectives (outisde of Webstein's). However, there are certain criteria
for being a Kvechie -- or paying the bills for one. Also, there are certain subtleties
that destinguish the Kvechies from their predecessors, the Beatniks and the Hippies.
